It is important to follow your Vet’s worming advice.
Young puppies and kittens are at risk of picking up different types of worms.
The bitch is the only animal in the whole animal kingdom that can transfer larval worm from her pregnant uterus to her unborn puppies.
This is called Trans Placental Migration. We recommend the following worming protocol:
Puppies and kittens less than 3 months old:
- Worm every 2 weeks.
Puppies and kittens between 3-6 months of age:
- Worm every month.
Dogs and Cats over 6 months old:
- Worming should be done every 3 months for the duration of your pet’s life.
