Testimonials
“… Clondalkin Animal Clinic is a practice with a big heart as well as skills. I know if it wasn’t for Mr. Freyne and his team’s wonderful surgical skills, round the clock nursing care and all the love that was lavished on my pet, she would not be here this Christmas. Bonnie loves visiting her friends at the clinic and it is now her second home…”

“I have been a client of Clondalkin Animal Clinic for the last 15 years with my previous dog Morgan who sadly passed away last March. In the days before Morgan died the care that was given to him was fantastic and the dignity that was afforded to him and me on the day I had to put him to sleep and after his death was very touching. On a brighter note, I have a new little fella called Joe who also attends Clondalkin Animal Clinic for all his medical needs. In his short life, he has been very well looked after by all the staff. They are always glad to see Joe and he is always glad to see them which, in turn, makes me happy as Joe is never afraid when attending the clinic; he greets everyone with a wag of his tail. As well as great medical care, Clondalkin Animal Clinic also provides a grooming service where Joe has his hair cut, washed and blow dried. He loves being pampered. I made the decision to stay with Clondalkin Animal Clinic for my dog’s needs because the care and genuine interest in my pet when he attends the clinic are fantastic. Why go anywhere else?”
“We have a miniature 14 year old Yorkshire Terrier called Molly and a 9 month old Kitten called Mittens. We brought Molly initially to Clondalkin Animal Clinic because she had very bad diarrhoea and was pretty much in a bad way for a number of months. Having brought her to another vet when her illness began, we did not see any improvement and actually were preparing for the worst. Once we arrived at CAC, and saw vet Fiona, things happened fast. Immediately bloods were taken and she was kept in overnight (did not happen in other vet clinic). A stronger medication combination and a special diet have brought her back from the brink and we have Molly now back to good health and very happy within herself. We can’t thank Clondalkin Animal Clinic enough for what they did and especially Fiona. The care and customer service is fantastic! Our cat has been neutered by CAC and is in great health. I have no hesitation in recommending Clondalkin Animal Clinic to all pet lovers and owners!”
“Just a line to say how grateful we are for the attention and care you have given to our dog Molly over the last number of years. As you know we were using another vet at the time. Molly got a small thorn in her paw and the poor dog was in terrible pain. My wife phoned me at work so I said I would phone the vet to see if they could see her at 6-7 before they finished. I was told they were booked up and it would be the following morning so I decided I would phone Clondalkin vet. I was informed immediately to bring her down at 6:30 ( This was 6 o’clock when I phoned) She was seen straight away even though it was my first time to bring Molly. She was looked after 100%. Since then I have continued to bring her for her check-ups and grooming. She appears to be very content and happy and I must say everyone looks after her so well. I hope to continue using your services and the kindness all your staff give to all the animals that attend. Well done!”
“Hi All. Well as a very regular visitor to Clondalkin Animal Clinic with my 2 dogs Lady and Mikey where do I begin. Lady has a skin allergy and we visit about every 2 to 3 weeks for treatment to Aga & Mikey comes for the visit too. We love visiting as we are Always mad SO welcome. The Vets Aga and Fiona always take so much time reassuring me and the dogs and never rush me. Everything is explained so well to me. Even when I ring, the girls are just super. Claire the Nurse is keeping an eye on the dogs’ weights and some day we will see Aoife for a bit of grooming. Even when I get upset and cry I get reassured and an arm around my shoulder. Keep up the super work girls, see you soon.”
“I have been with this veterinary practice since September 1999 when I registered my two kittens, Misty and Bruce who were about 10/11 weeks old. Both Misty and Bruce received the best of care over the many, many years. All the staff are so kind, friendly and very compassionate. I was accommodated at all times, with on occasion even facilitating my precarious work hours. I always got a same day appointment or was greeted earlier or later than would have been usual. I sadly lost years ago and everyone couldn’t have been more helpful and supportive at that very sad and difficult time. I am happy to say Bruce, who is now an old gent and going into his eighteenth year, still receives the best of care, love and attention and everyone loves to see him coming when we visit. I would always recommend Clondalkin Animal Hospital as the number one place for veterinary care given the longevity and experience I have had with the practice. Mr Freyne along with Jeannie and Cassie are household names for keeping my cats healthy and happy and being supportive to me with any concerns I have ever had, going above and beyond the call of duty at times. They always take the necessary time and give that extra level of care, especially now with making Bruce comfortable in his old age and on-going care of his arthritis while being thorough in their examinations and meeting all his healthcare and welfare needs. I couldn’t be happier or feel more confident and looked after myself and have no hesitation is recommending this practice. Thank you!”
“We have had a great experience whilst dealing with all the staff. Freddie loves going there and all the staff are lovely and genuinely love the animals. Freddie has attended daycare and goes there for grooming from Cassie, he loves Cassie, and Cassie gives him the best grooming he has gotten. We love that it is local and are so happy Freddie loves going! Thanks for all you have done! We have recommended to anyone who has dogs!”
“I have been a client of Clondalkin Animal Hospital for many years – more than I would like to admit! They have always cared for my much-loved Cavaliers, Heidi, Bella and Holly with great kindness. In recent times they have also groomed Holly – Cassie knows her well and understands she is getting older but takes this into account. She is due for her next groom this Friday!”
“Clondalkin Animal Clinic first introduced us to Archie, our Yorkshire Terrier, over 6 years ago when he was looking to be re-homed. Since then they have provided Archie with so much love and care when we have gone back for booster shots and check ups. Archie required operations on his back knees and eyes as he got older. Clondalkin Animal Clinic’s friendly staff allayed any of our fears and worries and gave Archie so much love, care and attention as he went through these procedures there. They carried out these operations with 100% success and now Archie can run around and play as if he was a puppy again. We are so grateful to the team at Clondalkin Animal Clinic for minding and caring for our precious little pal.”
